Vintage wood chair from the 70’s. The chair padding has been substituted by aged board planks. The wood has been treated with the old Japanese Yakisugi burning tecquique. This peculiar approach has given both a strong resilience to the wood structures to parassites (as well as to fire itself) and a well-defined pattern composed by the enhancement of wood veining. The iron structure has been traited with a strong conservative approach in order to enhance its material features (iron, old black paint and bits of rust).
